Day 2

First morning in the town of Mostar after the first sleep. Very nice atmosphere in the room, a good morning smile on all lips and a strange attempt on the creation of coffee. Without the right equipment coffee isn’t the most easy drink to brew. Just to inform you. This day was meant to be the day of getting practicality in order. But the second of May is apparently a holiday in Bosnia. We found out by continuously running into closed shops. So we still have practicalities to do tomorrow. Instead we went to see the youth house here in Mostar. By coincident we ran into one of our contacts, Sanel. He showed us around at the youth house and asked into our project. We had a good connection and he is willing to help us further. All so the youth house has many visible wounds from the war like the rest of the town. Many many bullet holes in nearly every wall. Still the atmosphere around it was amazing. smiling and happy people coming and going. We were introduced to a very sweet woman working as the leader of the youth house, Maja was her name. We had a very good chat with her and walked out of there with a new office. Things are running smoothly down here, we now have a place to live and a place to work. tomorrow is the big day were we’ll meet with our contact from the Center of democracy,Jlenia. It will take place at 16.30 so cross your fingers :o)

Further more we have signed a contract with the main library of Aarhus and posted it. It says on the postbox “15.00 sati” witch we don’t know what means. maybe -they empty it every day at 15.00, or every saturday at 15.00. So it will be exiting to see when Marie Louise from the library receives it. Now when I’m writing about contracts the one we made with Vejle municipality should be in place at the school back in Mejlgade.
We are doing good and are about to cook salmon for dinner. The plan is a nice evening here in our “cosy-camping-cabin”
song of the day “stegt flæsk og persille sovs” by Jimmy og René.
the word of the day “kuvherthaj” -Envelope.
