Mingle the kids

When our photographer arrived.
The day started out with us joining the Office of Democracy to a opening session for a new kindergarden. this is the first kindergarden where muslims and Croats can go together. It was an amazing experience even though non of us understood what was said. The girls and anders started to mingle with the locals and Søren took upon the roll as a photographer. It was funny to see an opening of a kindergarden with only grownup smoking cigarets... there were only one child. Well Anders were with us, so i guess we could say two!!

It was raining heavily from the early morning and it kept on during the day.

Yesterday we planed the meeting with Valentina and we showed up in good time and had a coffee before she arrived. This meeting was a -lets plan the action plan- meeting. And so we did. Valentina is indeed a fantastic person! We went into details about the workshop we will run through with the Gymnasium and divided rolls.

As it is now, we are going to join a Students council on wednesday and we will have the “identity workshop” the 12. of may. The Meeting was very nice and many questions was answered. The deeper we get into the culture the more we see the need for our project, witch in a way is sad.



later we had a -lets chill home listen to the rain- afternoon.
Hanne, our photographer, arrived at around 7 and the groups strong men welcomed her and carried her bags. we had a chilled dinner with white wine and Salmon rissotto. Valentina had invited us over before the balkan rock concert that night. We had a few drinks with her and meet some of the students, one from Mostar and one from St. Petersberg. The rock concert was an experience for it self! This was a biker gathering from all over balkan to listen to this band. Many interesting personalities dancing around that night. unfortunately we don’t have any pictures from this night be course our professional photographer managed to delete all pictures, both her own and Sørens. -by accident, she says... :0)
